This fence is often supported with round stakes driven into the ground at 2 or 3 metre centres, with bigger end and corner post are used to strain the line wire tight. The top and bottom wire which holds the individual pales in place, stapled the intermediate stakes. Cleft Chestnut Paling Fencing
Chestnut Paling is a ready made fence. It comes in 10 yard rolls which can be joined together to make any length of fence.
It can be used as a permanent or temporary boundary, having attractive individually cleft pales joined with strong galvanised wires, this fence can be taken down and rolled up to be stored.
