Rustic trellis is made from natural peeled and treated poles, these can vary in diameter. The treated poles are split to make the half rounds used to make the trellis infill. It is not unusual for the timber to show signs of weathering and some small splits and shakes may also occur.  This does not affect the serviceability of the product.   This type of trellis is very strong and will last for many years.
