The Cottage is a heavier duty garden gate, with its mortice and tenon construction and 4” x 2” stiles strengthened by 4” rails and bracing.
With a height of 3’6” (1.067m) the Cottage is available from stock in widths of 3’0” (0.915m) and 3’6” (1.067m).
Made in pressure treated, kiln dried softwood.
We recommend that you choose posts and hinges suitable for the size and weight of the gate you select. The post should be a minimum of 600-900mm in the ground. When measuring up the gap for the gate you should allow between 5-10 mm clearance each side of the gate so that it will function properly.
