Our fresh sawn Oak Sleepers offer exceptional strength, natural durability and plenty of rustic character. Suitable for raised beds, retaining walls, garden steps, feature borders and many other landscaping projects.
Oak is a naturally durable hardwood that requires no treatment for most outdoor applications. They are cut from fresh timber, so every sleeper is unique.
A few sleepers may have knots (some large), sapwood, waney (uneven) edges and colour variation, these are all natural characteristics of oak and are not defects. They will usually have two to three good adjoining faces.
As the timber dries and adjusts to the seasons, further movement and splitting can occur, all part of the natural character that makes oak so popular in gardens and landscaping projects.
We only supply Fresh Sawn European Oak Sleepers (Quercus Robur).

A delivery service is available at very reasonable rates and is charged based on your location. All products can be collected during opening hours free of charge from the Timber Yard at Weston Subedge.
All our timber products are carefully sourced from FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) and the PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) certified producers.
This means that we only utilise timber from managed forests where planting and renewal programmes are in operation, helping to protect and sustain our environment and air quality.
We deliver locally using our own vehicles and nationally via courier, all at very reasonable prices.
Our premises are always well stocked and friendly staff are on hand to give advice and guidance.
