A delivery service is available at very reasonable rates and is charged based on your location. All products can be collected during opening hours free of charge from the Timber Yard at Weston Sub Edge.
Most of the oak used in Britain for construction and furniture making comes from Europe, and mainly from France. Whilst the British have tended to view the oak tree as a natural and much loved symbol of our landscape and a crop that belonged to the age of wooden ships, countries like France have continued to farm oak as a commercial crop and to manage its planting, growth and harvesting for use in the timber industry.
French and European timber operations are sustainable and ecologically sound, and this dedication to husbandry ensures that we will be able to enjoy oak as a wonderful raw, hardworking and versatile material for many years to come
We deliver locally using our own vehicles and nationally via courier, all at very reasonable prices.
