Post and Rail Agricultural Fencing

This versatile fence is constructed using round or half round stakes and half round rails, or square sawn posts and rails.
The number of rails on the fence can vary, two, three or four rails are common.
Wire netting can be fixed to the rails to make the fence secure for smaller animals.
Rails can be fixed to the posts using galvanized nails or in the case of sawn mortised post and rail, they pass through holes machined into the posts.
