Hanging Gates

Hanging your gate correctly is vital because the functionality and strength of your gate depends on how they are installed.

Below you’ll find recommended guides for hanging gates. These are guides only, not instructions. We would recommend that an experienced installer fit manual gates and a qualified installer fit automated electric gates. Automated electric gates must have a heavy duty rail on 5 Bar Gates and a heavy duty bottom rail on Courtyard & Driveway gates.

We also recommend that gates are treated with a Modern UV oil.   Taking good care of your gate does not just make it look better, it is also an important step in ensuring it remains durable for longer.
